WYSIWYG

Stop for a second
Imagine:
Folks of all sorts
Verdant mountains
Lunch together
A farm animal or two
A Frisbee toss, perhaps
Ice cream anytime
A nap on the lawn
Epic fun
‘Day on the Farm’ films
Surprise Parades
Cheeses galore
Dancing at dusk
Crackling fires
A postcard sunset
Dinner by candlelight
A winning day

The Grounds

Spectacular

We are proud to present WYSIWYG on the scenic grounds of Burlington College. The College, overlooking Lake Champlain, is the perfect bucolic setting for a day to be wholly enjoyed with friends, neighbors, and family. Thanks to Burlington College, these beautiful acres have just become available to the public and we very much look forward to sharing it with you.

The land will be dotted with larger than life art embodying the mission, ethos, and humor of WYSIWYG.

Greening

WYSIWYG is committed to creating a green and environmentally aware event.

All packaging at WYSIWYG will be fully compostable or recyclable. We will partner with local companies committed to the ongoing well-being of our environment to provide services such as sanitation, energy supply and waste removal and make every effort to keep the festival grounds clean and safe throughout the weekend and hope that you’ll join us in this effort.

WYSIWYG is a dog, smoke, drug-free event. Non-compliance will be grounds for dismissal from the festival.

CAMPING

While WYSIWYG is not a camping festival, Burlington’s North Beach Campground is only .25 miles north of Burlington College and accessible via the Burlington Bike Path or by vehicle. The campground has restrooms, showers, 29 full hook-ups, 39 electric and water hook-ups, and 69 tent sites. Tent and RV sites are available May through mid-October. Please call (802) 862-0942 for details and reservations.

Getting There

Parking

Parking is available at Burlington College and the nearby Burlington High School but there will be limited availability at both locations. We encourage you to come early if you are arriving by car and do your best to carpool. We’re expecting the crowds, so fill your van, sedan, sled, or buggy to the brim with your nearest and dearest and cruise on over.

Biking, Walking and Public Transport

are all highly recommended! We’ll have plenty of bike parking, the CCTA would be happy to buzz you on by, and really, it’ll be a beautiful day and isn’t thaaat far of a walk. We also offer Free Secure Bike Parking Services, like a coat check for your bike! Provided by Local Motion and the Outdoor Gear Exchange.

Something for Everyone

We’ve been around the block enough times to know that not everybody loves or even eats the same things! That being said we’ll make sure to have something for everybody: the gluten-freers, the vegetarians and vegans, the non-dairy folks, the little ones, the picky ones, the carnivores and more!

Top tier Farmers and Chefs will be paired to create unique and delicious menus featuring the best that state farms have to offer. Speakers and educators will entertain and host talks to shedding the light on the key issues facing local and global food systems. Cold beer from brewers across the state will flow, music from fantastic nationally-touring bands will fill the air, and art that reflects the ethos and humor of WYSIWYG will dot the land. It’s going to be a great party, a celebration really: full of friends and neighbors and family. It will be a fabulous time and we’d love you to come out and play.
